- April sees the release by Rebellion of the Action 50th Anniversary Special, a super-sized issue with I was asked to do one half of cover for. I am honoured to be sharing it with comics legend and good friend John Higgins! Three images includes the finished art of the cover and a work-in-progress.
- Piece for upcoming shark book. Male meg grabs the pectoral of a resistant female amidst a baitball of Alosa (shad). Meanwhile, a flock of Spheniscus megaramphus (extinct large, long-billed banded penguin) and an extinct toucan-billed booby, Ramphastosula, go fishing. Pisco Formation, Miocene Peru

- Spinosaurus rough-housing with the lamnid shark, Cretalamna, Bahariya Formation. Pen and inks for shark book out next year. Been a quiet year in terms of social media as the shark book has dominated my time so not had much to post but looking forward to flexing my creative muscles next year.

- Very excited to find the advent calender with my NHM artwork already in our local Marks 'n' Sparks! Had to buy one even if it was just for the cool cutouts on the back! Now I'll be able to act out the classic T.rex v Trike confrontation!
- Just discovered that the retro dinosaur artwork I did for the Natural History Museum recently is going to be featured on a 2026 calendar! Is also on a M&S advent calendar!
- I see what you did there...

- Happy birthday to Mesozoic Art v.2 - on sale today from Bloomsbury Wildlife! As fine a collection of modern palaeoart as could be - 25 artists across 250 pages. Darren Naish and I could not be more proud. Available from Bloomsbury and all other fine booksellers! Volume one is still available!

- A new piece of an old piece. Of the dozen or so Magic: The Gathering cards I did, the pygmy hippo is apparently the rarest, and the original art is long gone. I was, however, commissioned to do a new version. This meant gridding up a card to reconstruct the new version as accurately as possible.
- Spinosaur v Sarcosuchus A4 private commission intended (apparently) to be turned into a tattoo. The client requested gore and a nod to the JP3 Spinosaurus.
- Emperor Hawk Moth 60th birthday present for my moth-loving sister (it's her favourite type). A3 mixed media on tan paper. Bit of a first for me and nice to be able to post some non-shark art.

- Belantsea. A very weird cartilaginous fish from the Bear Gulch Formation. The candy-striped fish in the foreground are Aesopichthys, the others are Discoserra. The squid-like cephalopods are Syllipsimopodi. Another piece for the shark book. Thanks to the kittens for their help.

- Coming on 25th Sept... It really is beautiful. So proud.
- Another shark piece. In heavy seas, a huge Cosmopolitodus bungles an attack on a family pod of the little baleen whale Piscobalena. Pisco Formation, Miocene Epoch. I've often wondered, on a piece like this, how many lines I do. I photographed the first makes made. 08.50 1st August.
- T. rex v Trike This time, it's personal. A3 private commission Done this scene multiple times and it's a staple of palaeoart so it's hard to find something different. But kinda like it.

- A little something I wrote recently in collaberation with Withnail Books and Amazing 15. This is very much a limited edition and can be ordered only from www.withnailbooks.com. Check out the link for details! If you're a #Jaws fan, you might enjoy it!

- Hadn't intended to post this but was pretty happy with the colours. A young Galeorhinus cuvieri picks an escort of the batfish, Eoplatax. Beneath are two moonfish, Mene, and the early marine snake Archaeophis. Bottom left is the weird tailless stingray Lessiniabatis. Eocene Bolca Formation, Italy
- A little something arrived in the post today. Actually, it's a pretty sizeable something and hard to do a flip-through with one hand - but you'll hopefully get the gist. I think @Darren Naish and I can feel pretty pleased with how it looks and can't wait for it to be released into the wild!
- Commission for the forthcoming Enniskillen Comic Fest this weekend - Satanus vs the Killdozer!
