- #Cavs say James Harden (trade pending) and Dean Wade (left ankle sprain) are questionable tomorrow against the Kings. Max Strus and Evan Mobley are out.
- #Cavs beat the Clippers 124-91 in the first game of the post-Core Four era. The win was as dominant as the final score would indicate. Cavs forced 24 turnovers and scored 47 points off of them. Donovan Mitchell had 29, Jaylon Tyson had 17 and Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis fit in well.
- #Cavs lead the Clippers 94-68 after three quarters. Very impressive performance from this team during a week when it's easy to not be locked in. Donovan Mitchell leads with 27 points and five Cavs -- including Dennis Schroder -- are in double figures.
- #Cavs lead the Clippers 62-42 lead at half time. Cavs outscored LA by 15 points with their starting lineup in the less than nine minutes it played together. Thought the new guys both did some good things, too. Schroder has 9 points and is a +10. Jaylon Tyson leads with 15 points.
- #Cavs will look different tonight -- obviously -- with Keon Ellis and Dennis Schroder making their debuts. Very curious how this team looks from an energy standpoint. Trade deadline week can be an exhausting one, especially when three guys have been dealt in past few days.
- Remember the first trade the Cavs made? Well Keon Ellis and Dennis Schroder are set to make their team debuts tonight. I wrote about what the #Cavs should expect from them moving forward. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- Sunday night was the best, most dominant performance of Jarrett Allen’s career on a night where the Cavs needed him to take a step up in production. Wrote about that, plus what I’ve been hearing leading up to this week’s trade deadline. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- Broke down the Saturday night deal between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls. Why each team did this, what’s next for the Cavs and why it was ultimately the right move for Cleveland. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...

- Wrote about LeBron's emotions last night, the potential for a third stop in Cleveland for him and Jaylon Tyson's continuing to take massive strides forward. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- #Cavs say that Evan Mobley experienced a left calf injury last night against the Orlando Magic and is expected to miss 1-to-3 weeks.
- The #Cavs have been winning in ways that look much different compared to who they were last season. They're building an identity that they didn't necessarily have last season and will need this postseason. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- #Cavs have upgraded Sam Merrill (right hand sprain) to questionable for tomorrow's game against the Orlando Magic. De'Andre Hunter (right knee soreness), who missed Saturday's game, is also questionable. Darius Garland and Max Strus remain out.
- Very, very impressive win for the #Cavs tonight. A tough second night of a back-to-back against a solid team. They've won 5 of their last 6 and 10 of the past 14. They're up to 27-20 on the season. Has to be one of the more satisfying wins of the season for the Cavs.
- Evan Mobley finished last night with 29 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks. #Cavs don't need him to always post those stats, but they do need him to always play with that level of force. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- As always, there will be more from this one over at Locked On Cavs and The Inside Shot. You can sign up for The Inside Shot (and read about the #Cavs 3-point defense) here: theinsideshot.substack.com/p/the-clevel...
- #Cavs lead the Kings 102-93 after three quarters. Much better defense from the Cavs in the third quarter, holding the Kings to just 22 points. Evan Mobley has been the best player on the floor tonight. He's got 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists and a pair of blocks so far.
- The #Cavs, as a whole, have left a lot to be desired tonight, but Evan Mobley has been so good. One of his best games of the season. He's up to 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Just awesome stuff from him.
- It's 16-2 #Cavs and the Kings just called their second timeout less than four minutes into the game.
- The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the worst team in the NBA at defending the 3-point line. I went back and watched opponents’ makes and dove into the tracking numbers to determine how much of this is bad defense and how much of it is bad luck. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- Think it might be a good time for a Locked On #Cavs mailbag episode. What questions do you have about where things stand right now with this team?
- #Cavs are starting Donovan Mitchell, Jaylon Tyson, Dean Wade, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen tonight. Same group that started on Monday vs. OKC.
- #Cavs Kenny Atkinson on yesterday’s Darius Garland update: “I felt like we dodged a bullet.”
- #Cavs have upgraded Dean Wade (left knee contusion) to probable for tomorrow's game against Oklahoma City. Sam Merrill (hand sprain), Max Strus (left foot Jones Fracture) and Darius Garland (right great toe sprain) are all out.
- #Cavs say that Darius Garland sustained a Grade 1 right great toe sprain and will be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 days.
- #Cavs are moving Craig Porter Jr. into the starting lineup tonight with Darius Garland out. He's joined by Donovan Mitchell, Jaylon Tyson, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. This is the 23rd different starting lineup the Cavs have used this season.
- Ball is up. #Cavs and Jazz are underway here at Rocket Arena.
- #Cavs are starting Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Sam Merrill, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen tonight against Utah. First time in two weeks the Cavs have started the same five in back-to-back games.
- I'm not sure whether yesterday was the #Cavs best win of the season, but that's an honor debatable between three of the past five wins. Plus, Sam Merrill's impact and Evan Mobley's forceful afternoon. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...

- #Cavs beat the Wolves 146-134 thanks to a fantastic offensive performance in the second half. They had five guys with more than 20 points, led by Donovan Mitchell with 28 points. One of Cleveland's better wins of the year, without a doubt.
- #Cavs lead the Wolves 99-91 after three quarters. Very impressive quarter for the Cavs on both ends of the floor, certainly helped by the Wolves not shooting the lights out from deep like earlier. Donovan Mitchell has 26 points, Evan Mobley and Sam Merrill both have 17.
- #Cavs trail the Wolves 65-63 at the half. Think the Cavs have played much better defensively than the score would indicate. Minnesota has been red hot from deep, including a few end of shot clock makes that are the difference right now.
- #Cavs trail the Wolves 33-29 after the first quarter. Thought Cleveland's defense was pretty solid, Minnesota's shot making was just better. Jaylon Tyson leads the Cavs with eight and Donovan Mitchell has seven.
- Ball is up. #Cavs and Wolves are underway here at Rocket Arena.
- The #Cavs started their 21st different starting lineup of the season on Thursday night. It was a minus-19 in just over nine minutes on the floor in a game the Cavs lost by nine. That's, ultimately, where the game was lost. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- #Cavs lose to the Wolves 131-122. Their starting lineup was outscored by 19 points in just over nine minutes and they ultimately couldn't recover from it. A brutal third quarter on the defensive doomed them. They fall to 21-18 on the season. A bad loss that probably could've been avoided.
- Awesome start to the second quarter for the #Cavs, opening it up on a 14-5 run. They started the second strong against the Pacers on Tuesday night, too. Let's see if it can be sustained tonight.
- #Cavs are starting Darius Garland, Craig Porter Jr., Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen tonight in Minnesota. It's their 21st different starting lineup this season. They used 23 different starting lineups last year.
- Darius Garland has been added to the injury report for tonight’s game against Minnesota. He’s listed as questionable with a hand contusion.
- The Cavs once again needed to come from behind in the fourth quarter to beat a bad team. That’s a habit that needs to be broken, but seeing Darius Garland lead the comeback was something to build on. open.substack.com/pub/theinsid...
- I'll have much more from this game in Indy over at Locked On Cavs and The Inside Shot. You can subscribe to The Inside Shot here: theinsideshot.substack.com
- #Cavs escape Indiana with a 120-116 win. They played a mostly good fourth quarter after a below average first 36 minutes. Darius Garland was fantastic down the stretch, scoring 14 of his 29 points in the fourth. Didn't miss a shot down the stretch. Killer stuff from him.
- Huge jumper from Darius Garland. He's up to 29 on the night and has made all seven shots he's taken so far here in the fourth quarter. #Cavs lead the Pacers 117-114 with 11.5 left in regulation.
- #Cavs are actually having a pretty strong second quarter so far. They've taken a 45-43 lead with 5:05 left until halftime. Sam Merrill just hit his third 3-pointer of the night.
- #Cavs are starting Darius Garland, Sam Merrill, Dean Wade, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen tonight against the Pacers. It's their 20th different starting lineup of the season. Jaylon Tyson is also active.
