- i don't know wtf is going on and it's none of my business but clearly people need to use the block button more. to be fair: even with this app's legit great tools to block en masse, it really needs to be a lot easier. public microblogging is toxic as fuck because everyone is default connected.
- this is extremely fucked up for human beings. you're normally separated from other people by virtue of physical distance, and social structures arise to counter that and build ties incrementally. public social networks completely invert that pattern. so does the open web, but that's different:
- the open web does not make everything immediately extremely discoverable to everyone else. this app has the Discover feed, which is something that imo should not exist, because it creates social ties algorithmically. social ties should always be created through individual human intent.
