- I want to say a big thank you to each and every one of you for sharing your words, sharing your art, supporting my art, choosing my art for your business or your home, and bringing beauty and kindness into the world. Here are some reflections on my design and artmaking in 2025.
- 2025 was challenging for me. Lowlights – health stress, transition hiccups, AI slop, disappointments, cost of living stress, chaotic global markets, a dizzyingly mad world. Highlights – healthy habits, family time, seeing people grow, pottery, painting, reading together, swimming in the sea.
- My toile with a twist is a delicate floral design featuring some surreal floral faces. For anyone who wants a little bit of mystery and the unusual in their dressmaking, linens, home decor, and walls.
- The mythical Phoenix is a symbol of harmony, transformation and peace in Chinese culture. I wanted to feature the Phoenix along with some symbolic flowers in my Chinese Heritage Revival design, my take on the traditional Arts & Crafts design. #fabricdesign #surfacedesign #pattern #phoenix
- Crane in Flight with Flowers is a plate decorated with an applicator for the underglaze. The applicator created a slightly uneven and blobby flow, but it was handmade with love. This plate was a gift for a friend. #pottery #handmade #handmadepottery #ceramics
- I think Foxglove flowers are so pretty, and I love the idea of foxes putting their little paws into these soft sweet flowers. But they aren’t so sweet. The leaves, flowers and seeds of the foxglove are toxic and can be fatal to humans and animals! Here's a little fabric collection #design #flowerart
- Here is my little Orchids mini collection for #2025patternchallengebyholli The complementary prints are definitely the most fun to design right now. What a delightful discovery, after so many years of focusing on hero prints! #surfacedesign #pattern #flowers #fabric #printdesign #floral #orchids

- Happy Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025! The Lunar New Year is a great opportunity to get things in order you didn’t get around to for the new year, such as all that cleaning, goal setting and habit tracking. Wishing you a fresh new year to declutter the old and make space for the new!
