- I loved somebody who faked love. I called them out once for talking behind somebody's back whilst acting nice to them, and they claimed to be better. I trusted them, as I trusted many people back then. They continued to manipulate others, and in the end, stabbed me in the back.
- Reposted by khulearning that a bulk of the people i used to hang with are habitual liars and OBSESSED with drama made this much clearer to me. i certainly don't have this huge wide net of a social circle in the former places i used to be in, but i have so many better, kinder people in other circles now.
- The staple characters are my favourite. The Queen and Lady Danbury storylines really carry the show for me. So compelling, so refreshing. I don't know I just love seeing the difference between women who are forced to play by the rules of the game vs those who stand outside.

- The thing I like about Bridgerton is the balance between women's agency and the reality of the time period. It's a little unrealistic but I have always adored period dramas. I love that the show has carved it's own identity. They have fun with style and genre.
