- I'm grateful for @startplaying.bsky.social for the opportunity to follow my dreams. I wanted to be a storyteller like Nolan or Del Toro, but felt filmmaking was beyond my grasp. Now, every week I am a Sith Lord, a scared young wolf goddess, and Hamlets uncle every week!! Thanks!

- 'Brunches in Barovia' podcast pre-production meeting! We are getting ready to launch a D&D campaign recap podcast!
- I tried to make this custom mini for my spouse's shapeshifting, text-eating familiar. It flashes with script, thus the thread.
- Do iPhones dream of proprietary iSheep?
- Real talk, how do people learn the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne? You only hear it once a year. Every year I assume everyone is fake-singing along.
- The thing I didn't like about #TTRPG advice and tier lists is that they don't matter once a player has made their choices. Then it doesn't matter what is "better" - your players'choosing said features make them the most important in the game. Full stop.
- In #TTRPG I think the third pillar of the hobby, so called Exploration, is a misnomer for current trends. I think Engagement is the proper term, as at its root, exploration is simply the engagement players have with the world between combat/social encounters. Could be camping or navigating markets
- It should be the Players who recap the previous session of a #TTRPG game. The players will highlight what is important, share their insights on previous events, and course-correct each other over errors or misperceptions. It helps make them feel like the Storyteller is visiting this world, too.
