- -rotate the alarm both clockwise and counterclockwise -reconcile the fact that the alarm is hardwired to your home’s electric circuitry yet still needs regular battery changes?? ok sure -use your fingernail and maybe math? to pry the old (rectangular) battery out of its (semicircular) housing

- Watching the @apnews.com feed of the CDC applause line bidding farewell to recently resigned senior leadership and struck that they're calling it a walkout. It's not a walkout.
- A walkout is a work stoppage aimed to show dissatisfaction with an employment situation. It's a type of strike. Federal employees in the US are not allowed to strike. CDC employees have been well aware of the stakes of confusing this event with a strike all along.
- @apnews.com Nothing I have heard about this event suggests it is a walkout and being precise about this language matters a lot. Suggest changing the event name and making a correction to the language in the event description.
