- No no no. They're saying "pumpkin spice". They're upset that it's off the sbux menu again.

- Going through my draft, and realize it's time to rename all the placeholder stuff I put in there. The most egregious is "objects of study" - books, films, etc that a post apocalyptic scavenger might read and learn something from (think magazines in Fallout). I hate the name? Any ideas?

- For my entire adult life, I've never really understood why people drink coffee to wake up. I thought it was all in their heads - caffeine just didn't affect me. I could drink coffee at 9 pm and be asleep by 930. Once I hit 40, coffee ~actively~ put me to sleep. Apparently this is a sign of ADHD?
- Who's your favorite TTRPG artist when it comes to interior (ie, not the cover) art? What about if it has to be black and white art only? I'm digging Larry Elmore's interior art for BECMI at the moment.

- Wanted to make a Black TTRPG Talent starter pack for a while but recovering from extreme exhaustion and personal stuff, I wanted to put this out there 💖 If I missed ya, please let me know. I want to include everyone i can and boost them ✨ go.bsky.app/KGqY1Kzat://did:plc:cjl3dcnqf4ifohq5xjozurn2/app.bsky.graph.starterpack/3lt5tk4tpzl2y

- Trying to think of TTRPGs that do generational play - where you don't play a character, but instead a bloodline. Pendragon, where you start off as knights whose children (future PCs)will be part of the round table, and whose grandchildren (ditto) see Arthur's fall, comes to mind.

- Played Traveller today, w a new player. We did some trading stuff, which was kinda boring tbh, and then the PCs started the haunted space station module, Death Station, and I think we hooked the new guy. Once you find a corpse in zero G, and then do an autopsy, what choice do you have?
- I've mostly finished this book now. It's still really good, but it has a lot of padding about setting lore, company structure, and stuff that will never actually happen at the table. It reminds me of recent Shadowrun books in that way. Still, lots of hooks, a decent adventure, and worth getting.
- This might be my favourite #Traveller sourcebook I own. Most regional sourcebooks for this game give you a map with dozens, if not hundreds, of individual systems; however, they only detail a few. Each system gets one page, if that. They're annoyingly vague. 1/2
- It turned out very nice!
- Had a flash of inspiration last night for a dinner idea. Mediterranean style poke bowls. Mediterranean rice pilaf. Lots of fresh veggies and beans. A hummus style sauce to spread over it all, with parsley and sesame. The prep starts now. Who knows if it'll be good?

- Ruin a public figure by adding or subtracting a letter from their name, and adding a letter. I'll start. Felon Husk.
- Family is all now COVID free. But now, one of our cats seems to have a cold. And the other one, Burnzie, is super worried that we're all gonna starve to death, so he went out and killed a squirrel to feed us.
- Family has COVID. It's been a mild cold for wife and I, and a bit worse for Scout. When we had COVID last, a few years back, I knocked us on our asses for a week or more. Anyways, vaccines work.
- I'm not built for PvP. I just killed a guy on arc raiders, believing he was a belligerent (he wasn't). He seemed genuinely ~hurt~ that I had attacked him. Made me feel bad for the rest of the game. Still looted his corpse, though, and the sweet loot helped ease the sting.

- Just made around twenty or so jars of various pickles and canned goods, and gave them their hot water bath. Now I'm watching YouTube, hearing the lids click every few minutes as the contents cool and create a vacuum. It's a very rewarding sound - food preservation is wild, y'all.
- Are there any games out there that have a mechanic where, after a session, a player creates a summary of what went down? And that this is mechanically part of the game, not just a suggestion? I can't think of any, but I've done similar in past games, and it was fun. Looking for more examples.
- My sister's girlfriend is from South Africa, so my sister has started learning Dutch (Afrikaans isn't on Duolingo, and they're very similar languages). So my sister and I are practicing Dutch together. Very cool. Or should I say, Veel Goed.
