- sandbina so good it got me to start drawing again
- just caught up with all of Blue Proustian Moment, and my god. i am emotional. i am crying. the yuri is yuri-ing
- i saw a singular screenshot showing potential silksong yuri and that was enough motivation for me (actually i have i think 40 hrs on hollow knight but never finished the story… i think i was like 90% done 😅)

- going to attempt to document my AnimeNYC experience in comic form, part 1
- my cosplay idea for anyc was Red Blood Cell from Cells at Work. but instead of carrying a box of oxygen, i would carry a box of yuri. which is basically the same thing bc i breathe both of them in at all times and they keep me alive (unfortunately i am not actually doing this cosplay 🥲)

- ruri rocking irl the museum had a big honking sample of agate and what a stunning pattern it has
- watanare 5: god i love renako’s dumb faces and especially noises, her VA is doing such a good job also loved this ep. ajisai’s arc took over my brain so i forgot how fun satsuki’s arc was too. love seeing satsuki just being unabashedly petty
- i shouldve been the first person to watch kpop demon hunters but i only just finished it yesterday 😶 anyway polytrix is real
- dropping kaoruhana bc i have too many shows to watch but my only thoughts are kaoruko and subaru should kiss
- every asumi-chan chapter makes me so mad, but not because they're bad. but because the chapter builds up so well, and itsuki kuro is so freaking good at ending them on such a TEASE. and chapters release every 2 months so the wait is horrendous 🫠
- ruri rocks 2: i did not expect to get as emotional with this show as i did... the lessons nagi teaches and the way ruri comes to understand them fills me with so much warmth 🥺
- bought patapon bc i crave rhythm games. my children need me and i will lead them to victory
- believe me when i say i liked saber a LOT........ (old art from ~2014)
- oh my god?? my first double in a hoyo game???????? the way it's saber and not even an original hsr character LMAO she used to be one of my fav characters when i played the f/sn VN like 12 years ago so this feels surreal
- rocks 1: oh this tickled the science communicator within me as someone with a related master's reminds me a lot of Cells at Work in that it's rly good at science communication. it uses Ruri as a naive, starry-eyed child to make geology relatable to lay audiences and draw interest to the topic
- watanare 1: i was half-expecting Mai to pull a Yuri Physics mid-air flip like Yuu did in Sakura Trick, and was mildly disappointed... but fantastic episode 1!! playful animation and visuals make this still feel fresh even tho ive read this same intro 3 times. also ajisai our angel, our bestest girl
- officially bought tickets for anyc 2025! unfortunately didn't see a lot of yuri art last year (other than green yuri), but i'm hoping that i'll get to see more this year... pls... i need my yuri.....
- ninkoro 12: just write a story about found family and that's enough to make me cry 😭 took a few episodes to get there, but that's when it clicked for me. also the character designs rule. and yuri is real.
- rock lady 13: the kiss feint destroyed me 😭 episode 5 was my favorite, but a lot of fun overall! loved the cathartic trash talking. there was however a disappointing lack of Alice screentime :( i need to see that girl fangirl more

- my humble little haul to celebrate yuri day! volume 5 of Pink Candy Kiss released today!! the angst and yearning in this one hurts so good. it's a fav
- finally, my kind of weather 😻 (half-joking but i much prefer warm weather)
- got on the train to go to a Let's Go Birding Together event, but no more than 5 minutes later, i got an email saying it was canceled (due to T-storms) 🙂 visited the park anyway and saw a black-crowned night heron for the first time!!!
- sometimes i make a comic and look back at it later and see how cheesy it is and i cringe a little lsdkjfs
- im so excited for Kpop Demon Hunters... fun animation?? beautiful women with silliest of faces??? TWICE FEATURE????? what more can i ask for
- visited a salt marsh and got bitten by many a mosquito also learned that female red-winged blackbirds are not song sparrows 😩
