- #20SongsByYear (alphabetical order by song title) 1968 Day 3. The Monkees - Can You Dig It "Those who know it use it" youtu.be/ISZgP-3r7ZY?...
- Never heard that before, very decent
- It's from the brilliant film, Head.
- Ah right, not aware of that either
- It's a psychedelic, acid-induced masterpiece of its time.
- I was just reading the wiki about it, and sounds weirdly interesting
- It's amazing. This song and dance routine in particular is brilliant. Not because of the song as such (Davey Jones doing a cheesy cover of a Nilsson song) but because it features a young Toni Basil dancing ❤️ youtu.be/PS2-QKEOYYU?...

- Ah right, I didn’t notice when I first watched that clip, although had seen her referenced as the choreographer for the film. I put it on this afternoon on YouTube and half-watched whilst doing other things. It’s definitely of its time, but I enjoyed some of the cameos, Zappa and his cow.
- if you get an opportunity, check out Daddy’s Song with Nesmith on lead vocals. i prefer it, but i’m biased youtu.be/-q-CwLGLnjQ?...
- I'd never heard this version. Thank you. Yes give me Nesmith's vocals over Jones anyway. I adored Davy but he was my fourth favourite Monkee...
- for me - Nes / Micky / Peter a photo finish first, second, third and Davy a distant fourth. i loved Head when i first watched it in the early 90s (i think). As We Go Along could be their most beautiful song and the promo from the film is very affecting
- I love the way the film comes full circle. Such a good film.
