- Did you know that disabled women are twice as likely to experience domestic abuse than non-disabled women? Leaving an abusive relationship is often difficult for women with disabilities, particularly if their abuser is also their caregiver. Asking for help can be difficult but you’re not alone.

- Merseyside was ranked as the worst region in the UK for femicide in 2023, with Knowsley as the worst in the constituency. 85% of all femicides were domestic abuse related; however, domestic abuse is not outlined in Merseyside’s Serious Violence Duty Strategy. Change is crucial to #EndFemicide
