- repitch works in a very similar way to melodyne - it lets you move, split, and join notes that are detected automatically, and a primary feature is letting you "snap" notes to a grid
- why is it an upgrade from melodyne essential? repitch elements includes drift correction, which is only available in melodyne assistant and up! this lets you reign in vibrato, smooth shaky notes, and create the "tightly tuned" sound

View full threadi use tools that have extremely similar algorithms from the same company all the time in my own editing, and theyre used WIDELY in the professional industry i can vouch for this specific version because i tested it myself and like its sound and usability! just go get it!!!
- i think i might keep my eye out for a streamdeck but only like super cheap,,, i think moving some of my less ergonomic binds / monitor controlling to a separate keypad would be great

- how did everyone pick their username? ,,,its literally a keysmash that i cleaned up and injected with GameR SauCe i alternated my right and left pointer fingers in a blank notepad and out came "paleixor" -- remove extra letters for "plixor" -- pick capitals for aesthetic "PliXoR"
- mind you this was probably back in 2016? a good bit before i entered online j-music spaces (2019) and started mixing seriously (2021) "plixor the mixor" is truly a cruel fate
