Could use some advice for when people thank me out in the world.
It's become more frequent these last few days, and all I want to say back is "I'm sorry," but that feels weird, too. I didn't vote for this, but I know a bunch of my family did, so I feel guilty and let that seep in. 🧵
With the levity of what's going on, I have to fully prepare to die every time I go out, and it puts me in a weird headspace for socializing.
Have a few prepared things to say would help!
Some are just waving and calling it out from their cars, so I could use a quick response, & one a bit longer.
