CRAZY how fast a cross country passes. Our three runners grew in ways they may not recognize or understand. So proud of them and the steady, get better approach they had the entire season. Ended the season with them being chased by Zombies and brunch. Keep running and having fun.
WOW! Where has the season flown to? The ORR 2025 Cross Country Season comes to a close on a foggy, soggy day. So, proud of our Runners for their grit and resilience. Ancora set a PR while Santy and David ran strong races with their never stop mindset at Region 2B.

Windy but a great day to runs at the Colman-Egan Invitational...wind kept most of the bugs away. However, Ancora informed me that at times it kept blowing her hair into her face. All ran great varsity races with David and Santy achieving PRs. Results:

WOW! What a beautiful day to run. We ran a hilly, slightly shorter than normal course at the Castlewood Cross Country Invitational (Castlewood City Golf Course). Everyone ran the varsity race and ran with grit. Results:

Next up: Arlington Invitational Cross-Country Meet (Lake Region Golf Course, Lake Poinsett), Monday, 9/15. We'll have all three runners participating. Ancora will be running V 5K, it's the same course for region. David and Santi will be running the JV 3K.
It was a fantastic day on the course at today’s cross-country meet! David and Santi took on the 3K JV race, showing steady progress in both endurance and race strategy. Their hard work is paying off, and we’re excited to see how they continue to grow this season. Great job, runners!
Next up: De Smet Booster Club Invitational (Kingsbury County Country Club, DeSmet), Thursday, 9/11. Only David and Santi will be participating and running the JV race. Ancora will be playing volleyball. Go Raiders!
Thunderstorm morning to clear blue for our cross country meet. The team did awesome. Ancora ran 19 seconds faster than last year on this course. David and Santi set PRs on the JV course. Results:

First cross country meet for 2025! David and Santi both had PRs in the Middle School Race. Ancora ran faster in the race today than she did last year. A great start to the ORR Cross Country Season!
Our first cross country meet is rapidly approaching. We'll be at the John Collignon Cross Country Invitational! Ancora will be running the JV Girls race while David and Santi will be running the MS race. Please note the course is different than what has been run in the past.
