- less than 24 hours after i posted this i installed the latest drivers for my GPU and two fans on my card just completely stopped spinning which was fixed by a system restart but lol come on man

- finding it amusing that the current thing i'm fixated on in blender is trying to emulate lens/camera stuff that i could do in the real world where i wouldn't have to punish my GPU
