- [ Her expression softens at his words. Her gaze falls to the bowl in front of her, registering his words and contemplating what to say next. ] "...I imagine that gets exhausting." [ No judgment. Slight concern, maybe. But quiet acceptance. She resumed eating the stew in her bowl. ]

- [ As he composes herself, she had done the same, regaining her calm demeanor while clearing her throat. Her head tilted slightl in response to his words. ] "...What makes it less cool? If.. You don't mind me asking."
- [ Snrk-- She stifled a small snicker at his reaction. Though, she immediately lifted her hands in a brief, apologetic gesture, not wanting to offend him. ] "Apologies...! I suppose your abilities still amaze me." [ She rummaged through the cupboards, retrieving a bowl for herself. ]
- "Not at all. I just thought you might prefer th.." [ She trailed off as he somehow spawned his own bowl. Huh... She blinked once, tilting her head curiously. His abilities still amaze her. ]
- "I'm glad.." [ She'd gotten distracted earlier, but it had still turned out fine. She let out a soft sigh in relief. ] "You could grab a bowl from the cupboard. I made some bread to go with it, too."
- [ She smiled softly as he took the spoon. She took a small spoonful with her own, blowing gently to cool it off before trying it. ] . . . [ ...Could use a touch more pepper. But overall; Very good! ]

- [ OH She got distracted. Woops! Lifting the lid of the pot, the stew was already boiling steadily. She gave it one last careful stir before turning off the stove. ] "It should be ready..." [ The scent was rich and comforting... It smelled delectable. ] +
- [ There was a faint chuckle from her. Not that weird, huh? She always thought of herself as quite peculiar. What sort of other out-of-the-ordinaries had he encountered? How curious! ] "Well.. I hope it's welcoming enough to make you feel at home."
- [ Oh, he did show up after all! Lovely! She felt genuinely happy to see him again. ] "I only tidied a little... So it would feel more welcoming." [ She sets the spoon down and places the lid on top of the pot, allowing the stew to cook a bit longer. ] "...I was hoping you would. Is that strange?"

- [ She's not dense. She could tell from the tone that he was relucant. There was a faint chuckle from her. ] "Hehe.. Please don't worry. Don't feel obligated to come by if you wish not to." "...It would be pleasant to see you again, though." [ ...Her own cheeks warmed. What is she saying. ]
- "..I manage. That's all you can really do, no?" [ Another little deep breath. Then she clasps her hands together, trying to regain herself. ] "Well! It's the holidays.. I would hate to keep you from any plans that you might have. Would you like to take a slice?"
- "...Loss." [ And that is all she said. A wound still so fresh to her. ...She lowers the piping bag and sighs softly. She doesn't meet his gaze. ]
- "...I try to. It can be.. difficult." "But dwelling on only negative memories, especially on the holidays... It silences good moments." [ ...She pauses, frosting the cake more slowly, as if something weighed on her. ]
- "At times." [ She had began to frost the cake she was working on. Leaving small little dollops on the edges. ] "There is good memories, bad... This time of year brings back good ones. Even if.. They feels bittersweet now. Melancholic, in a way."
- [ Ah! It's Red again! It's always pleasant to see him. She smiles softly and shakes her head. ] "No. I just like feeling festive." . . . . "...It reminds me of simpler times."
- [ Trees aglow with festive lights. It's Christmas Eve! A good evening to be festive, no? ] [ Nothing too eventful. She is baking something sweet and comforting.. The air smells of sweet apples and cinnamon. Bittersweet memories... She's even wearing a soft maroon cloak for the Holiday. ]
