- You know who else is a petty tyrant who doesn't exactly love elections? Lukashenko. Guess its only a matter of time before Trump launches a special military operation in Belarus... Right? Right??? Why one but not another?
- NO MORE WARS!!! TOO MUCH WINNING!!! THE PRO PEACE TICKET!!!
- One livery for Intercity, London commuter, suburban and regional? How daft.
- A great day for Melbourne with the opening of the Metro Tunnel. Been a long wait but the benefits over the coming decades will be amazing 🚇🎉
- Look at him go 🥹

- Decent place to wake up.
- BART BAG SPOTTED in Tokyo!!!!
- Accidentally ordered a tomato beer last night. I assumed Red Star was a brand name... But nope it was a tomato beer. Won't make that mistake again.
- Big fan of whatever's going on here
- "No carparking at stadiums" poster in Kobe. Love it!
- Real ones are Hankyupilled
- Good morning gang
- I've been doing quite a few cross City FKN-NPT trips recently and it really irks me how unreliable the cross city component is. Third time in a week my "Frankston" train from footscray has terminated @ Flinders Street (with zero driver announcement I might add.) Real sloppy from MTM.
- Need to spend more time on here given the gradual enshittification of twitter and the increasingly volatile political scene in the United States
- New apartments by sunset☀️
- You know Im truly doing my best to avoid consuming and thinking about news coming out the USA at the moment. But the thing is, its not possible. Every corner you turn there's some story or comment on Trump/Musk/Ukraine etc. its unavoidable and I hate it. Our future is uncertain and it freaking sucks

- Melbourne Airport. Big airport serving a big city. 1.15am. Still lots of people milling around. Skybus up and running? Nope. You're on your own.
- x.com/declanmartin... Folks we're sorry to announce that tonight's Cairns train trip has been placed on ice for a couple of months, owing to inclement weather. ⛈️🌩️🌪️
- Queensland Rail have been running commuter catch ups this year. Many UK rail operators also have "meet the manager" sessions. Doesn't happen in Melbourne - I think it should though. (If I'm right in saying we used to hold them but not anymore.)
- A look around Central Station in Sydney, which has undergone some serious modernisation in recent years. Its absolutely stunning to put it simply. A really good place to start and end an intercity journey. Well done Sydney.
- This freaking rocks actually. Long live the sleeper 👏
- Had the displeasure of missing a 703 bus by mere seconds only to find the next service was over 20 minutes away. There's 4 buses per hour so theoretically should be every 15 minutes... But Ventura's timetable is so damn patchy that there's gaps up to 24 minutes. Really weakens a "premium" service.

- Nice to see some local activism in the north around train frequencies, big focus seems to be the large 40 minute gaps on Sunday mornings and half hourly trains after 7pm. Wouldn't take too many extra services to remove 30-40 minute gaps and provide consistent 20 minute services every day.

- Saw some coverage on the Federal Govt spending $450,000 over two years on welcome to country ceremonies. So $225k p/a $225,000 divided by 14.5 mil (the total number of Aus labour force) = 0.02 cents. Welcome to Country ceremonies at Federal Government events cost you 0.02 cents per year. Thats it
- So after the US election, there was a mass exodus from Twitter to here. What do we think will be another catalyst for another big Twitter exodus? Musk has been increasingly volatile over the past fortnight particularly within relation to Euro elections, so surely something will have to give soon
- People like to talk up big bus reform but sometimes its interesting to see just how little needs to change to make a good bus route a great bus route... For instance a mere four (4) extra interpeak services for the popular 630 would make this a turn up and go bus route!
- On a pre cricket train that's so busy there's people not fitting on by Glen Huntly... Feel like I haven't been on a service this packed since pre covid era. Ten minute services running too 👀
- If im working over the holiday period - you bet I'm wearing the Christmas shirt to the office.
- Its just amazing how good these folks are at tearing themselves to shreds. Own goal after own goal.
