- Happy to see this one out. We did a phylogenetic analysis of African Sesuvium using herbarium collections and genome skimming. We assembled ~9000 loci from orthologous genes identified from transcriptome data. We also described a new species! 🌿 #evobio #iamabotanist www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
- Excited to see this one out! We inferred a new backbone for Astragalus with a custom bait set and found some interesting things. This is the first ms of PhD student Daniele Buono that I have the chance to advise at LMU. More to come! #evobio @aaronliston.bsky.social www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
- Reposted by Diego F. Morales-BrionesHere's a starter pack for early career researchers in evolutionary biology. I prioritized the most-junior folks, and this list quickly filled up with undergrads, grad students, and postdocs. Might do another list later, but I'm tired. Have fun everyone! 🐒 #evobio go.bsky.app/MzND7nXat://did:plc:lqntypahtulzsssbj3slomy7/app.bsky.graph.starterpack/3lb5nxrqajy2n
