- Meet Heide Ford, PhD! She is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacology where she studies how tumor cells change during development enabling them to survive in unlikely circumstances! Outside of research, Heide likes to spend her time in the mountains, playing the violin, and reading!
- Meet Dr. Katherine Fantauzzo, an associate professor at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus! She studies how the facial bones develop at the cellular level. Outside of research, she likes to hike and watch independent films!
- Meet Dr. Martin Breuss, an assistant professor at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus! Martin studies birth defects in children and how they arise when they aren't present in the patents. He also loves getting outdoors on the bike or playing kick-ball!
- Meet Dr. Adam Green, an associate professor at Children's Hospital Colorado! Adam studies pediatric gliomas, a type of brain cancer, in order find new treatments. He also loves getting outdoors and singing karaoke!
- Meet Immunology and Microbiology Professor, Kelly Doran! Kelly studies how bacteria can cause fatal brain infections in newborns, in hopes of uncovering ways to prevent and treat the infection. She also loves being a mother, hiking, and listening to music from Harry Styles!
- Hey everyone, meet Lacey! She is a PhD candidate in the Bioengineering Program!
- Meet Dr. Devin Effinger! He studies how psychedelic drugs work in the brain and how they can be used to treat multiple disorders. Outside of research, Devin runs on trails, climbs rocks, and snowboards!
- Meet Dr. Kurt Beam! He studies how our brains control the movement of our muscles. Outside of the lab, you might find Kurt tending his vegetable garden!
