- I don’t have all the answers, but one of them is definitely ‘more trees’ 🌳
- We're excited to get stuck into planting once again 🌳 We hope you get the chance to give back to the environment and plant your own tree this year!
- Seeing the most vibrant colours on leaves brings me so much joy!
- Sometimes you need to pause and look up, you never know what beauty you'll miss 💚
- I’m tired. Like ‘crawl into the hollow of a tree and don’t come back out ‘til spring’ tired...
- The hill I’d die on: Access to urban nature shouldn’t be dictated by how much you earn.
- I’m not “into the environment”, I AM the environment. YOU’RE the environment. We’re ALL connected to *waves hands wildly* this!
- Here's proof that you can protect existing trees around redevelopment 🌲 We planted these Dawn Redwoods on Gaunt Street, Elephant and Castle, in 2006. We love that these trees were protected and prioritised during redevelopment of this area over the years!
- Give this post a like if you appreciated trees this summer 🌳👍
- "The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you don't expect to sit."
- Another reason why trees are important is that the doggies love the tree shade 🐶🍃
- I don’t want AI data centres - I want more green infrastructure in cities!
- “It’s just a tree” It’s not just a tree, it’s one we planted 13 years ago and now we can see it from our office 🥺💚
- Nobody: Me looking around: needs more trees
- If you're out and about today, make sure to take a quick break under some tree shade to cool down 🍃 (and also stay hydrated!)
- It's a beautiful day, so of course, all I'm thinking about is sitting in the shade of a huge tree and reading a nice book 💓
- We're not just growing trees, we're growing thriving, resilient communities - brought together through the shared act of caring for our urban nature 🌳💚 Watch the full video: treesforcities.org/greening-communities Thank you to @qasaalom.bsky.social and @earthminutes.bsky.social 😊
- Walked past a tree today and she told me you look cute 🥰
- 💥Cities are loud💥 but trees can help make them quieter! A busy London street can be 80 decibels, which is loud enough to have a negative impact on your well-being. 🌳 Trees dampen sound by absorbing, deflecting and scattering sound waves. Thanks trees 😌
- Your child self would think you’re so cool for still loving trees 🌳💚
- Trees literally release ✨feel good chemicals✨ so when we tell you to go hug a tree, it’s for your own good.
- This is a must-watch with OutsideWithLira exploring Croydon streets and appreciating tree-lined streets 🌳 If you're a nature lover, you'll relate to her enthusiasm 😊
- Just being real here, if you love trees, you really should be following us. We’re tree-licous or tree-tastic, oh wait, treeMENDOUS yeahh that's the one 😊
- It’s Thank A Tree Day! ✨ It’s not really, I made that up, but I reckon you’ll feel good saying thank you to the next random tree you see. Give it a pat too, they’ll like that 👍
- Loving how these two trees we planted in 2006 have been protected and prioritised during redevelopment of the area 🌳💚🌳
- Another bank holiday weekend which means... *drumroll* MORE TIME TO STARE AT TREES!!! 🥳🌳
- Me walking down any random street: could fit a tree there, there, two there, there, there-
- Stop scrolling, have a tea, do some yoga, do tree pose, keep doing tree pose, become a tree, live the rest of your life in tree happiness
- Some #MondayMotivation with a before and after from a project circa 2009 🌳
- Great things take time ⌛️ (we planted these in 2007)
- Hot take, and hear me out here... we plant more trees?
- Oh ok so when someone lays under trees in the countryside it’s called ‘forest bathing’ but when I do it under street trees in a town centre it’s called ‘being a public nuisance’ 😕
- We planted this cutie patootie in 2012. She’s got a little lean going on, but she’s still growing strong.
- Monday thoughts 💭 If you could create a green space ANYWHERE - where would it be? We’ll go first: Piccadilly Circus - turn that chaos junction into a garden 🌷
- Born to frolic amongst the trees, forced to say ‘happy Friday!’ every week
