I busted it up but this is going to kill people imo
the lines are from the things on the roof that stick up and are supposed to break up snow sliding off the roof so it doesn’t kill people
I only noticed this on my third trip heaving Costco stuff into the house, if you’d like to ballpark my danger sense and situational awareness
Feb 4, 2026 23:00cubic foot of water weighs ~60 pounds, would guess that’s about a cubic foot of snow hanging over the edge per linear foot of porch, maybe a little less? call it 40 pounds a linear foot to be conservative
Anyway if you live in the DMV consider not standing under this stuff any longer than absolutely necessary
