- just a heads up to creators especially, the commonly used Skywatch labeler (@skywatch.blue) hides “fundraising links” for those who use it this includes direct links to - paypal, cashapp, gofundme, and some others one way to somewhat get around this is to put payment link in the comments instead
- that way, the top level post will still show up in following feeds etc. the comment with payment link may still be hidden but at least they will know it’s there and can click to show

- when new platforms pop up I usually recommend signing up to sit on your desired username if nothing else usually I don’t work them until they start to take off, but imo it is best to put up a couple things and at least fully complete your profiles, so people who stumble across you want to follow
- don’t put more time/energy into them than they are worth because most of these platforms do not stick around long term but don’t just write them off either. fansly approached me about a deal before they were well known and i wrote them off when it would have paid off for me.

- #CreatorAdvice, quick misc [fansite] tip - Don’t waste space in your bio listing things you do NOT do, or are NOT interested in. Flip this on it’s head, and only talk about what you *will* do. Here’s why:
- 1) Including keywords relevant to the content & services you offer helps your SEO (read - people finding you from google searching keywords). When you use this space to mention instead what you won’t do, people searching *those* things will find you when looking for the things you don’t offer.
- 2) More positive words/less negative words = more of a positive first impression = more likely to sub/follow

It’s not uncommon that someone might come looking for one thing but end up actually really enjoying something else you offer and staying because of that. But a laundry list of “no’s” can be discouraging.
