- Saturday night supper: moussaka and a green salad with red wine. It’s incredible how perspective changes the sizes of plate v the wine glasses. A bottle shared three ways.
- Snowdrops and snowflakes in the garden. 😊 Crocuses getting battered by the rain. ☹️
- Afternoon walk: it happened! Primary school and back with Son. 😊
- Supper heating up.* Salad made. Garlic bread made. Time for a sherry**. Good evening to you all. 😊 * Lamb moussaka, bought some lamb mince at farmer shop near St Andrews. ** bottle reduced from £11 to £8 in M&S.
- Born in Hamelin, Lower Saxony, but raised in Bedford, he* was introduced to minimalist music at the age of 12-13 by the local milkman, an avid new music fan who delivered him records by Terry Riley, Philip Glass and John Cage with the daily pint and inspired an epiphany. Good morning. * M Richter.

- Charles Avison (/ˈeɪvɪsən/; 16 February 1709 (baptised) – 9 or 10 May 1770) was an English composer during the Baroque and Classical periods. He was a church organist at St John The Baptist Church[1] in Newcastle and at St Nicholas's Church (later Newcastle Cathedral).
- He is most known for his 12 Concerti Grossi after Scarlatti and his Essay on Musical Expression, the first music criticism published in English. He composed in a transitional style that alternated between Baroque and Classical idioms.
