- The Monmouth County Commissioners will tell you they have the lowest tax rate in New Jersey. That is a scam. They lower the 'rate' by 2% while the county assessor raises your home's 'value' by 11%. You end up writing a bigger check every single year.
- 2024 Tax Levy: $344,938,000 2025 Tax Levy: $368,672,000 The Increase: +$23.7 Million (One Year) Licitra and Anderson voted to take $23.7 million MORE from us this year alone. They drained $36 million from our surplus savings to plug the holes, and they still raised the tax levy.
