Had the most wonderful few days in Münster at a conference organised by the inimitable @casntweets.bsky.social - it was great fun to talk about my research on cranes in Tang-Song poetry, and all the talks were really inspiring!! Chinese animal studies is apparently no longer niche 🐴🐢🐕🕊️
