- Shiny Alpha Gourgeist, my beloved, you are mine.
- I’m on the fence on whether or not I want to shiny hunt all the sizes of Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist. I’m happy I got this one, but if I want to have a complete shiny line set I’ll need to catch 16 shiny Pumpkaboos and Gourgeists.

- Both Legends games provide a nice example of how that world came together and evolved. Wherever AZ came from 3000 years ago was technologically advanced and already domesticating Pokemon. Meanwhile in Hisui they were settlers just discovering Pokemon domestication.

- This is more confusing because I just remembered past games have treated things as though the passage of time in-universe at least somewhat follows the real world passage of time between titles. Like Blue and Red appear as adults in Sun, Moon, and Let’s Go. Just gotta not think about it too much.
- The story also takes off like it’s assuming you’ve pretty recently finished XY.
- And the Rotom phone was just me assuming the passage of time between games is the same in universe. Like to be super technical about it, 5 years later is also too early for them to have discovered some of these Pokemon.
