- Analysis by the defence intelligence company Janes determined that the drones pictured are Chinese-manufactured CH-95s, capable of long-range surveillance and strikes at a distance of up to 200 km.

- NEW: For the last year, dglewis.bsky.social and I have been tracking planes at Amdjarass airport in eastern Chad. Using satellite imagery and data, we identified 170 flights by cargo planes based in the UAE that headed on the route towards Chad since April 2023: www.reuters.com/world/uae-fl...
- The flights continued as recently as October this year.
- Half of the flights were operated by 4 airlines that a UN panel of experts accused of channelling military support from the UAE to Libyan general Khalifa Haftar in 2019-2020. They are: ZetAvia and FlySky Airlines LLC, based in Ukraine, and FlySky Kyrgyz and Sapsan Airlines, based in Kyrgyzstan.
