- One thing about living in a city while the local sports team is in playoffs is that the city is full of hope. That’s in short order these days and it feels good. Thanks for the hope Mariners. I’m not disappointed, I drank it all in. Great job.
- Had to take a month off hockey due to an injury and had my first game back today. Feeling good where I had that injury but even better, I feel great emotionally. It’s amazing what getting that work out in will do for your mental health.

- A thought for pride: There’s a lot of posts highlighting LGBTQ+ people and their accomplishments. You don’t have to validate your existence. Just being is enough. Surviving as gay, trans, lesbian, bi, ace, queer is enough. You don’t have to prove yourself to be worthy. You already are.
- We should absolutely celebrate the great things that people have done in spite of the odds stacked against them. Their accomplishments do not invalidate you just being you. Just surviving day by day in an unrelenting world. I’m happy you’re here.

- Periodic reminder that if you play sports with other people in a league…wash your gear! I like to stir all this in the bath tub with a big stick and chant the names of all the goalies I scored on last season.
- You should agitate the gear in the water and detergent for 10-15 minutes before doing a thorough rinse and letting everything dry completely. …there’s a lot of repeating of the names on the list since it doesn’t take that long to get through…
- And while we’re on the subject…wash your fursuit too! And if you have other kinds of gear wash and care for them so they last a long time! That means cleaning, conditioning, even storing things correctly can extend the life of the things you love!
