- First, I am a plant biologist. Many people don't know this, but as a teenager I lived in the Amazon for 3 years, surrounded by gorgeous trees. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, but my time in the Amazon shaped me. At 13 years old, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life #PlantScience
