- Many years ago, I began a prose novel for teens that just never worked, even after multiple rewrites. Later, I tried writing it as a novel in letters. Finally, I began writing it as a verse novel. It took a while to learn this new-to-me form. (1 of 4) #kidlit
- I took courses with author @cordeliajensen.bsky.social and later with author Laura Shovan, and they both helped me trust myself and my poetry. Plus, many beta readers helped me hone the text. Now, I'm thrilled to share the news that this story has found a home! (2 of 4) #kidlit
- I’m grateful to my agent @gingerninja.bsky.social of @curtisbrownltd.bsky.social, who has been a champion of this novel from her first read. I'm thrilled to work with author & editor Sarah Howden, designer Dahlia Yuen & everyone at @orcabook.bsky.social to bring you Forever Fries. (3 of 4) #kidlit
- It's a book of my heart. It's a book loosely based on personal and family history. It's a book that I hope will help us all shine our light and celebrate the light in everyone else too. (4 of 4) #kidlit

- It’s fitting that my advanced copy of THE CLOUD THAT STUCK arrived on this rainy day. This book will be published in April – the month of rainstorms – but today’s weather somehow knew this book needed a rainstorm to announce its arrival. Dorothy Leung's illustrations are so emotive!
