Nov 30, 2025 23:33It didn't need to devote extra runtime or overdo it like he isn't an adult. It could have been shown in literally ONE frame without treating it like he needs his 'boo boos' kissed or making it the main focus, it is okay it didn't end up happening but it is fair criticism...

I just kind of took it as "Charlie assumes her dad is basically invulnerable" which is the assumption most people have about their parents at some point, and which in his case is... entirely justified, honestly.
that is the intent! plus she didn't know where he was, we see her run over to him and then cut away. We figured it'd be obvious she had her moment with him and saw he's ultimately fine- just drained/tired, and then shifted focus to the very VERY big deal/focus that was Pentious broadcasting lol
