- A reminder that the @softwaresaved want to hear from you! Anyone who writes software for research (no matter what your job title is) is encouraged to complete their survey.
- Remember that if you use #R, #Python or #C++ in your research there are dedicated user groups open to all researchers & staff at the University. Ask questions of your peers, get the latest news from the communities and find out more about events and training.

- This is open to all society members and it doesn't cost much to join the society if you haven't already. The society is open to anyone who writes software used in research including researchers, PGRs and PS staff.
- We're never normally short of applicants when we advertise new Research Software Engineering positions and our Year In Industry scheme is always popular but you can never do too much outreach! Some of our RSEs have been out and about spreading the word about RSE as a career.

- Our RSEs have been working with a local company and the Turing Innovation Catalyst programme to make the most of AI.

- We've ran our Year in Industry internship for several years now and it's been very successful in attracting UGs who knew nothing about Research Software Engineering as a career. However we want to spread the word even more so we've been out and about!
- Solar panels on ships? Sounds like a great idea but ships have to contend with a wide variety of weather conditions, routes, and energy requirements. Discover how our RSEs are helping to optimise solar energy usage for shipping and helping it to move to #NetZero.
