Why is it in the Epstein files at all? You got me. What a wild fucking discovery. I am literally agog.

- Kiva is an easy way to make a real difference in someone's life. Will you join me in helping Hellen in Homa Bay to pursue their dream? www.kiva.org/invitedby/je... I have been lending the same $25 to widows for 15 years. Kiva is amazing.

- If you're in an area with ICE presence, be aware of the DHS memo - which even the Cato Institute calls unconstitutional - labels you a domestic terrorist, like Renee & Alex, for doing anything that gets in their way. www.cato.org/blog/dhs-pol...
- The Minneapolis Institute of Art is four blocks from where federal agents executed another American citizen. My husband, cousin, & I were four blocks from the future scene of a heinous act, five days before it happened. Enjoying world art in a peaceful environment. Having trouble reconciling this.
- Tell your senators to rein in ICE NOW act.indivisible.org/sign/ice-out... These executions have to stop.
- Stayed out of trouble but had fun on our vacation. Must replicate the amazing granola my cousin makes.

- Going to the Twin Cities this upcoming weekend to attend an SCA event, do touristy things, visit cousins. (Ideally, not become news.) Looking for recommendations for restaurants, especially Hmong and Somali. Last time we were there we ate at Adama, which is Ethiopian, & that was great.

- Must order some of these for one or other of my libraries (and read a few along the way)!
- Reposted by DancinLibrarianRest in power to Keith Porter who was murdered by an ICE agent in Los Angeles. It’s terrible that his name is just now being circulated, but now that it is, continue to say his name.

- Oh, hey, it got wintery again.
- I ate a commercially prepared donut for the first time in probably more than 20 years without getting sick. I'll call it a Hanukkah miracle.
- Houghton County, Michigan, declined a ridiculous proposal to limit its residents to two sexes. Even the Republican chair said they had more important matters to attend. Still, that it even happened, against a state civil rights act, should be shared as news, broadly. www.myupnow.com/news/i-cant-...

- Dewey Decimal has a lot of issues, but the one plaguing me today is why both 941 and 942 exist to cover essentially the same damn thing: Great Britain.
- I just signed a petition launched by the gender justice nonprofit UltraViolet demanding that SiriusXM drop Megyn Kelly. Kelly's comments minimizing Jeffrey Epstein's abuse of teen girls are reckless and irresponsible. Pedophile apologists should not have a national platform. app.sosha.ai/s/5vjo2jWX

- Alert to teachers, librarians, and parents: There is a line in "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing," by Judy Blume, that reads, "Dr. Brown, our dentist, said he'd have to wait until he was six or seven to get his grown-up teeth." Upon reading that, I had an upper elementary class chant, "6-7," at me. 🤦♀️
