- Fun fact: I am a disabled, single parent of two. I work two underpaying jobs because I was essentially laid off a year ago. I started a business that I don't plan to take an income from for another two years. I can't afford rent in this economy, let alone groceries. I have SNAP.

- For those that will inevitably say shit, I was the first in my family to graduate college (and took out too many loans because I didn't know better at 18yo). I graduated early with honors and two degrees. In college, I held leadership positions and won scholarships. I had a career for about a decade
- When I saw the writing on the wall for my career, I started to apply elsewhere before I was even laid off. First for full-time jobs in my field, then part-time. As the months went on, I began to look for anything outside of my field. Despite being proactive, I had no luck
