- Debut Sounds is back & this year groundbreaking new music meets the power of spoken word! ✨ Mentored by Composer-in-Residence Tania León, LPO Young Composers have collaborated with poets from the Southbank Centre's New Poets Collective, with each artist creating a new work inspired by memory.
- LPO Music Makers supports music-making in schools in London and the South Coast, working with children aged 7–11 and their teachers. The project brings world-class musicians to schools, aiming to build teacher confidence, spark children’s creativity, and help embed music into everyday school life.
- Smiles all round ✨ We had great fun at two LPO Junior Artist: Overture days last month! Talented musicians aged 10-15 from Worthing and Eastbourne joined the LPO for a day, playing side-by-side with some of our players and getting some top tips and advice 🎶

- Welcome to the LPO, Olly! 🌟 Olly Yates joins us today as our new Sub-Principal Percussion 🎉 For the past 20 years Olly has freelanced with many orchestras in London, and was acting Co-Principal Percussion of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra from 2007-15. We're so excited to have him on board!
