View full threadJavaScript also handles persistence by letting you save stuff in the browser storage, or you can stpre data in your source files or as json files. It also handles accessibility quite well, making it (relatively) easy to display extra info on hover, if that's desirable.
- If you want, I can help you learn the necessary tools (be it JavaScript, Python, or otherwise) needed, data handling, control structures, and programmatically generating UI elements. I do this for the love of programming, free of charge.
- Would recommend JavaScript, it handles simple Graphical UI stuff really well out-of-the-box, while being reasonably simple to learn and powerful enough for most programming needs.
- Python is somewhat easier to learn and use, while still being as powerful, but would require using some library or external tool for a GUI. Additionally, JavaScript needs no installation, as it comes with your browser.
