- The rage has built up over the day. How dare you take my years of education, hustle and training, self-doubt, mistakes, lessons learned, and triumphs and turn them into meaningless data points? How dare you take my endeavors and make them your profit?
- I am furious to see my creative work and the scientific papers I contributed to have been used by Meta to train their AI without my consent or knowledge. Not only that, but so many authors I've worked with have had their hard work stolen, not to mention author friends and colleagues. It's villainy.
- *Waves candy cigarette around* "It's all about opposites attract, sharing longing stares across a grimoire filthy from graveyard dirt, fighting forbidden desire and not just smutty desire but desire to belong and be greater and ascend..." "Umm...we just wanted to know who Bone Knuckles was."
- Meet Paige. Obsessed with the Ten Hearts Killer and the mystery of his last victim. But Paige had a secret of her own, one she will guard with her life. Get your hands bloody May 15. Preorders open, ARC spots dwindling, make your Goodreads messy by adding. All from @hedonebooks ☠️ 🌹

- Pondering the "where my lore started" trend and the actual brain images: Sandra Bullock tasting the whipped spread all over a corpse. "So much for true love!" Ursula screeches, cauldron-brewing the ocean w/ her trident. Furiosa, stabbed, "You drive." Rocky Horror? Please. Like I need to describe it.
- Need some fresh flowers? Spruce up your Goodreads shelf by adding this beauty. I love spring cleaning!
- She's beauty and she's grace, she's here to eat your face. Bone Knuckles & the Rose Scavenger releases May 15!

- Second night that the wolves have been howling outside. Eerie and cool
- Pleased to see Marcy's book on this excellent line up. Her writing is amazing and she's a wonderful author and creator to work with. Congratulations!!!
- Aurora borealis! I finally saw it!
- A minor book rearrangement ended an hour later with a whole shelf upheaval. And now the book case itself needs reordering...

- Book club junkie, reporting for duty.
- Eclipse Day. Don't buy any weird plants today unless you want an Audry 2 situation on your hands.
- "A Surprise in Color" by Titus Larson. Location? His mother's work notebook. Thanks, kiddo.
- There's nothing like turning on a children's show and listening to the opening theme being sung by Fall Out Boy. Oh, how the times have changed.
- Weird experience at the book store today. Spotted all the SJM books shelved in the YA fantasy section with a bookseller note that said, "For readers 18+." So...shouldn't they be in the adult fantasy section?? Guess not! New marketing tactic for my dark fantasy that's actually YA!
- Dog rolled in mud and needed a bath. Dog hid under the bed to avoid bath. Toddler desperately wanted to take a bath but when told "No, Celty needs a bath first" collapsed in fury and sorrow. Futile promises of a bath after the dog's were made, but no, Toddler demanded first bath rights. No wins.
- Celestial healer. Pirate rogue. Mermen. Fallen angels. A lost book of insurmountable secrets. The Falling Dawn is available now in ebook, paperback and audiobook. Yup, I'm back on my book shit... 😆 🧜♂️🌊🔮
- Grace Potter killed it last night. I loved her muppet dance, the shedding of the go-go boots to strut around in socks all night, then throwing said socks into the audience. Although the pair was separated, still hilarious Great music, great night.
- Really hope all the women in Alabama claim all their eggs on their taxes.
- Did someone misplace their stake?
- I recently re-acquired The Widow's Broom. Titus was interested in the sentiment broom, but you know, no trains or racecars so, meh. However, I was delighted to re-discover this dramatic pose and recalled how I desperately wanted to emulate. I need props and a sentient broom! TL,DR: I need a cloak.
- For Titus, Old Macdonald does not just have cows and hens. No, he is a railyard owner with many trains and cabooses to his name, eieio. With a choo choo here and a choo choo there.. All rhymes must have trains. And if I forget, he waves his wooden train in front of my face. Choo, Choo, Mother.
- Finished up nostalgic TMNT and it did not disappoint. Leonardo, who once was my least favorite turtle, had some great screentime and has now become one of my favorite turtles. I do miss April O'Neil as a hard hitting investigative reporter, though. Four stars. 🐢🐢🐢🐢🥷🥷
- Rainy Saturday full of lattes, comfy blankets, and a toddler who desperately wanted to go outside, jump in puddles, and run. He refused to wear rubber boots, only the leather moccs would do. And one of the first things he did was bring me a bouquet of wet fallen leaves ❤️🥹 Rainy walks are worth it!
- This was one of my favorite scenes to write. Every time I came across it, I cackled. It's not epic or evil or revolutionary. It's two brothers, one traumatized by hell, the other trying to hold him together during one of his episodes, and the two of them arguing about monster hunting.
- Ugggghhh I really want the Boox Palma. But will it simply be put in my purse alongside the paperback I still bring everywhere no matter what? Probably. I can change. I CAN CHANGE!
- This morning when the fog was so thick it was hard to see, I spotted a strange light in the middle of a snow-covered field. It gave me anglerfish vibes, luring me into a disastrous fate. I took the bait, but then the light disappeared! Maybe that is a good thing. I could have been eaten.
- CRYING IN H MART reminds me of Everything Everywhere At Once. Bittersweet and full of her Korean-American heritage and the struggles within her identity. IMHO it skewed toward being the perfect book for her mom, more like a diary at times. Great writing. I really want to try pine nut porridge, now.
- Flashback Friday to The Falling Dawn, Celestial Scripts Book One! Eos is the reincarnated soul of Erigenia... but Erigenia isn't ready to die quite yet. Can she reclaim her rightful place and defy a true death? Available in ebook, paperback, and audiobook, and best read as part of a series.

- *heavy breathing* The Magnus Protocol is here. THE MAGNUS PROTOCOL IS HERE!!!!!
- Over the winter, I've been immersed in the Winternight Trilogy and finished the third book over the weekend. It's been the perfect read: medieval Russia, a winter-king & chaos-king at odds, even a bearable warrior-monk! Five stars. I'm shopping my TBR pile this year. What book are you reading next?
