- Yesterday I concluded my third play of the Blighted Reach campaign from @leder.games . I leaned into the Pacifist role a little too hard, and although I dominated in power I couldn't convince my Caretaker buddy to go against the two C fates... #boardgames #arcsgame
- ...the Overlord and the Naturalist, who both managed to achieve their goals in the fifth and final chapter, with the Naturalist coming out on top. I guess, as the Pacifist, I prefer a mushroom hugger to a war mongering Overlord.
- Today is my birthday, and my son drew the logo of one of my favorite games - Pax Pamir - on the envelope of my birthday card :) ... And he's not usually into drawing so I know it's a big thing for him as well ❤️ #boardgames #paxpamir
- August in games. The usual good mix of on-table and online games. Some new games but also a bunch of old favorites. #boardgamesky
- Today marks the start of one of the highlights of the year. 10-12 friends meeting up for a weekend full of gaming, and this is my contribution of games. This event is also the main source of inspiration for the game i'm currently designing. 🎲✂️ #boardgames
- 🎲✂️ After the digital playtest in screentop, a friend commented on how far I had come since that initial pen-and-paper concept I showed some years ago. I had almost forgotten about it. Spiritually it's the same game idea, but that initial concept used a completely different action economy....
- 🎲✂️ This weekend I did the first playtest of my screentop prototype with some of my closest friends. The teach was a bit rough, and they also had to learn their ways around screentop, but overall it went well...
- June in #boardgames. The usual mix of on-table and online plays. Pax Pamir still in top due to constant Arena play. New games: Compile, FotR trick taking game and Hansa Teutonica. Moonrakers always a hit.
- 🎲✂️ Since about a month back I'm on the @unpub.bsky.social mentorship program as a mentee. This has given me the push I needed to get started on my game idea and I'm now approaching something that can be taken to initial playtesting with a screentop.gg implementation.
- April #boardgames. Ark Nova and Pax Pamir in the top thanks to BGA, but otherwise mostly in-person plays. Super happy to have Moonrakers back on the table but Molly House was the highlight of the month!

- Yesterday's 3-player game of #moonrakers was a blast! We ran two games back to back and I built my deck quite differently in both, leaning into my starting objectives. #boardgames

- Returned to a classic in Race for the Galaxy. If you're easily distracted, this game is rough. Each card drawn is situationally really good. But at the same time it's also one credit towards paying for another card. So, do you keep it until you can play it, or use it as payment now...? #boardgames
- Me and a friend are running a lunch game of A Gest of Robin Hood by @fredserval.bsky.social from @gmtgames.bsky.social . Two out of three ballads finished, with the Sheriff currently in lead at 3 order. #boardgames
- Fancy a dance? Or a christening? The night ended with infiltration despite reaching the threshold for survival. Two informants, but none managed to score in the positives and everybody lost. - Another win against Contrarius in Concordia Solitaria on the Corsica map. It seems unavoidable that he builds basically everywhere. Getting enough Saturnus, Jupiter, Mercurius cards and the Weaver and/or Vintner seems like a must, but maybe I should try another strategy just to see... #boardgames
- Solo Concordia tonight. Playing on the Corsica map for a tighter game against Contrarius. Ended with a narrow win for me on "normal" difficulty. #boardgames

- Resetting Arcs after the campaign could seem like a tedious affair, but it's in fact a joyful experience! A bit like flipping the pages of scrapbook full of memories :) #arcs #blightedreach #boardgames
- February once again shows the usual mix of online vs on-table plays, longer vs shorter games, newer vs older ones. The main takeaways: a second play of the Arcs campaign, introducing Ark Nova to a friend and exploring Pax Illuminaten. Happy gaming! #boardgames
