Writing this this gives me an existential crisis, who am I? I teach EAP at Dundee University, teach yoga and qi gong, don't eat animals, love Scotland and love potatoes especially chips.
- Reposted by Delia Gallagher 🏴Where are the trees? We have A LOT of this landscape and less than 4% native woodland. This should be a rich mosaic of habitats, moor, bog, woodland, montane scrub…We force it to remain in this artificial state. We don’t need to give every inch of our uplands over to sheep, grouse and deer stalking.
- Reposted by Delia Gallagher 🏴Can we agree to STOP CONSUMING POLITICO? Trump has been named most influential politician in Europe by Politico Putin 5th. LePen 4th. Farage 6th. Orban 12th. Zelenskyy 14th. Can we pair it with FT that proclaimed head of Russia Today as one of the most influential people and throw it in trash?

- Reposted by Delia Gallagher 🏴What’s unfolding in Riyadh between the USG and Russia is heartbreaking for Ukraine and those who have supported Kyiv since 2022. It’s a text book example of how not to handle Putin, or any autocrat. Give them respectability and weakly cede key points from the outset. It will come back to haunt us.
- Reposted by Delia Gallagher 🏴Yes, the US President, who was himself found liable of rape, is now trying to lean on a sovereign country to go easy on the Tate’s, two scumbag men accused of rape and sex trafficking. Probably because Trump wasn’t involved in this alleged network, unlike Epstein, if he was they’d already be dead.

- Reposted by Delia Gallagher 🏴Musk, Zuckerberg and Bezos are working with Trump for one very simple reason: They understand that Trump's policies are designed to make the wealthiest Americans even richer. These three men have become $232 billion richer since November. Not bad in a couple of months time!

- Reposted by Delia Gallagher 🏴So Trump delays tariffs on Canada and Mexico at the last minute, after the stock market and Canadian dollar tanked. Now if they rebound, anyone who had “bought the dip,” perhaps (let’s just imagine), because they knew this was going to happen, would end up with a lot more money. Interesting.
- Reposted by Delia Gallagher 🏴One of the dangers in letting people like Elon Musk define "doxxing" and what's "criminal" about it is that the term is specifically being weaponized against people behaving legally in the public interest and away from actual victims of online harassment, which Elon Musk supports
