- Then, yesterday, I got really sick. 100+ fever, nausea, back and forth to the bathroom, but maybe worst of all a terrible pain in my hips. I couldn’t sit down in a chair to work on comics. I swear I lived 4 days in 5 hours last night. It was bad.
- Then, this morning I look and realize that being offline meant we made $200 yesterday and I know it's ridiculous but all I can feel is guilt to the collaboraters I talked into joining me on this: zoop.gg/c/slay
- I know I shouldn't have done anything different, I'm not sure i could have, but it doesn't hurt less. But it also occurs to me, that's just comics. We're all work for hire. We're all one bad day away from losing a job. I'm fortunate because I have a wife with health insurance.Feb 5, 2026 12:41
