Definitely. Critical stuff that needs to be plastic can still be plastic. That would increase how futuristic it looks and feels, instead of coming off as chintzy.
I dream of a world with no plastics.
Everything it touches now can be paper, string, wax, glass, rubber, wood, enamel, or aluminum.

I love all of my Twitter Mutuals, but even more on Bluesky (genuine)
Highly amused seeing a certain subset of Bluesky users grapple with the fact that a decentralized protocol actually guarantees the speaking of Unapproved Thoughts and formation of Bad Communities much more certainly than Twitter ever could.
I’m enjoying the dawning horrified realization vibes as it becomes clear that both centralized governance/moderation by people, and decentralized governance/moderation by protocols, mean not getting what you want 100% of the time.
