- Working on a tool to define Golden Gate syntaxes for #OpenCloning. You define your syntax, and then you can drag-and-drop your plasmids in OpenCloning, they will be sorted into the right categories, and you can do combinatorial assembly. Reach out if you'd like to contribute: syntax.opencloning.org

- 🚀 A long-requested feature just landed in #OpenCloning 🔬🧬 You can now manually annotate sequences and create primers right from the editor ✨ Hope it makes your workflow a bit smoother! 📨 If you want to stay updated with upcoming features, subscribe to the mailing list (link in the comments)
- #OpenCloning is a an Open Source alternative to SnapGene/Benchling that supports automation and integration with other software ✅ Free 🔓 Open Source 🧬 More cloning methods than SnapGene 🤖 Can be automated with python 👨🔬 Built by a researcher — for researchers! 👉 Check it out at opencloning.org

- Reposted by Manuel Lera-RamirezReposting as I hear about a German Pubmed-like initiative: let's build on Europe PMC which is already great
- Reminder that @europepmc.org is a mirror of Pubmed with better search and that it indexes *all* bioRxiv preprints (as well as ResearchSquare), not just the ones funded by NIH like chauvinist Pubmed

- 100% guilty of this myself as someone who is not mobilised, but this quote naively captures how our job as researchers often alienates us from our role as citizens. Focused on our research, and often uprooted and far from home we don't get involved until it is too late.
