- This cymbidium started flowering 2 weeks ago, first of this Winter's orchids to bloom. It's so hard to photograph tho. It's a much darker red than it appears here, but trying to capture the sunlight transmission through the petals makes it look much brighter 🌱

- There's something supremely satisfying about being able to add tags to the writing for my game, for animations that don't actually exist yet & know that once the matching animation file has been created it will just run without any further input

- I pretty much always prefer a tool/system where assets can be viewed & debuged by their creators instead of them going into a blackbox. I never want things to be reliant on a coder to debug or even fix issues if I can give that power to the people who care most about that content

- Inside me are two wolves. One wants to be creative. The other just really wants to build the most robust tools & pipelines for creating & debugging the creative output so that everything runs smoothly & effectively for the eventual day when I am finally creative without technical distractions

- I wish Twine had existed when I was a teenager. I remember making branching stories using html webpages, but it being a bit too faffy and not being able to store variables and do cool things to turn it into the kind of text adventure I wanted
