- Toddler has started calling the living room the playroom... W/o us ever calling it that... Like, yes, I know 25% of the room is consumed by your trampoline, & your toys are strewn across the floor, & the couch pillows are your fort, but... Fracking A... The living room is your playroom, isn't it...
- Interesting factoid before the holidays! 🎄 Pleurodesis is a procedure to remove the pleural space & prevent a recurrent pleural effusion or pneumothorax. Doxy can be used as chemical pleurodesis-esp. as treatment for symptomatic malignant pleural effusion pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC....
- No NOLA trip is complete w/o a visit to Morning Call! Frozen coffee & fresh beignets are great! Then we toured Abita brewery & visited the Abita Mystery House. Fun fact-"Abita" comes from the Choctaw word "Ibetap", meaning "springs". Also, weird stuff in tap room-"Mother Shucker" made w/ oysters!
- It doesn't get more NOLA than eating a muffuletta in Jackson square while listening to a jazz street band in the background! My heart is happy!
- After 3 years of being closed due to Hurricane Ida, Central Grocery officially opens again tomorrow, but we got in for a sneak peak at the soft opening today!
