- Top notch 👏
- Phenomenal reporting. Very important that someone is holding the government accountable.

- Suspending your most effective Scottish MP is not the win you think it is. Solidarity with @brianleishmanmp.bsky.social who has been steadfast in his opposition to this regressive Labour government.

- 🟢 Scottish Greens must offer real change for disabled communities 🟢 It’s clear the political status quo is failing and ignoring disabled people... Finlay McIlwraith says it has never been more crucial to have a party who stands up for disabled and neurodivergent communities.

- Just getting round to this excellent episode. Brian and Shafi bang on about the lack of politics in politics. “The way you become an MP or MSP is by nodding along for as long as you can until you’re accepted into the ranks.” A warning ahead of next year’s election for all.
- 🟢 Ellie Gomersall: Greens must prioritise rights and representation of women and girls 🟢 At last year’s general election, young women were twice as likely to vote Green across the UK than young men were to vote for Reform. @elliebgomersall.bsky.social outlines why we must speak to them.
- 🟢 MSP candidate selections: Green Left Scotland seeks answers 🟢 Just a week left now until campaigning begins in the Scottish Greens’ MSP candidate selections, and there remain a lot of questions to be answered - including from those who want to represent the Scottish Greens.

- "The Greens need to show they can bring the opposite of what Reform suggests. They will require a clear message and convincing representatives on the regional list." An interesting read from @demleftscotland.bsky.social

- 🟢 Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse: What should be the Green takeaway 🟢 Now that this divisive campaign is over - how should the Scottish Greens move forward? 1. Ann McGuinness and her local, grassroots campaign are an excellent example of what Greens must do next May.

- Very disappointed to see two senior men within the Scottish Greens ignore guidance from the party about standing aside to increase diversity. Particularly to see @ross-greer.bsky.social suggesting this @sgpwomen.bsky.social guidance amounts to vote rigging. www.heraldscotland.com/news/2521545...

- 🟢 Queer climate action: "We must band together for a better world" 🟢 As Pride month gets underway, Green activist @alyson-mackay.bsky.social writes about the importance of intersectionality, and the LGBTQIA+ community, in the climate movement, and how people can affect change.
- Really encouraging to see this. @mothinali.bsky.social in a leadership position would be a game changer for Greens - not just in England - but across Britain. A real break from the party establishment - Scottish Greens, take note.

- Excellent reporting @stephpaton.bsky.social.
- 🟢 Why Scotland's political landscape cannot deliver a Nouveau Front Populaire 🟢 Responding to Green Left Scotland's article on political coalition building, Allan Gray writes about the challenges facing any project to ally different parties of the left in Scotland.
- 🟢 No National Park: A betrayal of working-class communities 🟢 @lauramoodie.bsky.social writes about the decision to reject the creation of a new National Park - a glaring example of how the interests of wealthy landowners and businesses continue to overshadow the needs of working-class communities.

- “The enemy of the working class travels by private jet, not migrant dinghy.” - @zarahsultana.bsky.social proven right.
- 🟢 Ann McGuinness: Lessons from the by-election campaign 🟢 Ahead of this week's important by-election in Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse, @scottishgreens.org candidate Ann McGuinness writes for Green Left Scotland, reflecting on the campaign so far.
- "Staying true to our grassroots and to our members and supporters has given us in South Lanarkshire Branch a strength that will last long after the attention dies down, the bright lights fade and the media circus moves on." Read in full: greenleftscotland.substack.com/p/ann-mcguin...

- The same people have been making the same decisions in the Scottish Greens for a decade. Couldn’t be more obvious we need to change now: a break from our dithering, new leadership and a changed group of MSPs all essential.
- 🟢 Private profiteering costing the public: Ardrossan Harbour and Peel Ports 🟢 In the third instalment of Green Left Scotland's transport focus, co-convener of the @ayrshiregreens.bsky.social @caramckeegreens.bsky.social writes about the case for taking Ardrossan Harbour into public hands.

- 🟢 Rising to the challenge: Reshaping our image on road infrastructure 🟢 Next up in Green Left Scotland’s mini-series on transport, Cllr Kris Leask writes about roads and how the Scottish Greens need to reframe our approach.
- Disappointing to see the suggestion that the Scottish Greens should allow the SNP to own the anti-Reform messaging. Across Scotland - particularly on the Holyrood lists and in the 2027 council elections - the choice will be directly between Greens and Reform. We need to make that case clearly.
- Can the @scottishgreens.org counter Reform? A generic anti-Farage message would see us squeezed by the SNP next May. We need to do more than that. We're the only party willing to tell an angry public who is really making their lives worse. Fixing a rigged system must be our offer to voters.
