- Not sure who the IT bods at Companies House/HMRC are who dreamt up the whole ID verification. But it is an utter utter shambles. From the very very beginning. The whole concept is all over the shop. 2 different systems. Change of App. Change of name. Farcical. That’s before trying to upload!

- The @theguardian.com promoting a story by a YouTuber saying how the BBC should bend down to appeal to kids more is very alarming. The determination of some sections to reduce standards & levels to please children is very worrying. But both the left & right want it. Improve standards not reduce them!
