A pessimist is what an optimist calls a realist
- Costing me about a week’s wages to have the dog housed & looked after when we go on holiday in the summer. That said, I’m happy to pay it knowing he’ll be well looked after & having sorted it early I don’t have to stress about what we’re gonna do with him.
- Trying to be organised/thinking ahead by arranging for the local council to come & collect my old sofa a few days after my new sofa *should arrive. Let’s see how spectacularly wrong this could go.
- Waiting for Costco to open. Queue goes halfway around the warehouse. Oh the joy
- Arsenal’s subs yesterday. Cba looking up transfer fees but Eze about £60m, White & Jesus about £50m, Odegaard about £30m. It’s a different world isn’t it? #lufc
- Not sure (yet) how I feel about our game today. Were we really bad? Were they really good? First time we’ve been well beaten at home this season & for a while anywhere. Just hope it doesn’t knock our confidence too much. As long as we bounce back next week we can forget about today. #lufc
- Just said to my daughter on the way home. It’ll be fine as long as Chelsea beat west h…. Oh..
- Barring a little bit of coughing, my cold has finally fucked off. Which is nice
- Would absolutely be thrilled with an #lufc win over the north London reds tomorrow (however unlikely it is) so I can give a bit of grief to a couple of former work colleagues & one of my nephews. The fact that it would piss off Chapeltown’s own Micah Richards would be the cherry atop the Bakewell.
- Road near my house. Don’t realise we’d had a meteor shower
- Happy enough with a point. Fair result. Annoyed that we didn’t react to their 2nd half changes & invited them on. Not Farke’s best day. #lufc

- Right, gonna try & be positive here. Been a pretty awful weekend results wise for #lufc. Also looks like 17th place may need more points than in the previous few seasons to stay up. We’ve still got our heads above water though & there’s just 9 points between 7-17. Win tomorrow & we’re 10 pts off CL
