it was a combination of watching cinderella as a kid and seeing my older sister draw that made me think ‘i can do this too’
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.
Dec 17, 2025 15:00for the former, i remember watching the film on ABC one afternoon while playing with my polly pockets, and it got to the scene where cinderella got her new dress that made me stop and go ‘wow that was beautiful, how did they do that?’ and little me decided to try and work for disney one day
for the latter, my sis used to draw sonic and star fox fanart growing up and i thought her art was the best thing in the world cnnc so i just looked up to her and wanted to inpress her with my art
fast forward to now, never applied to disney, never taught myself animation, fell out of love with disney as a whole, and my sis barely draws anymore, yet i’m still moving forward
feels odd i guess? seeing how much my inspirations changed like i have
guess that’s the nature of it
