- Reposted by Christopher PerkinsBig thanks to @chrisperkinsdnd.bsky.social for joining us for this one-shot and handing out so many con save throws 🥰 what a gift youtube.com/shorts/vN7Xa...
- Happy Halloween!
- I saw this hanging precariously above a doorway and, me being me, thought death by EXIT sign would be a pretty funny way to go.
- Reposted by Christopher PerkinsHey Gang! I could not be more thrilled to step behind the screen for Campaign 4 of Critical Role, and cannot wait to share all the amazing things me and this incredible team have been cooking up for you! 🐲⚔️🔮

- Superman was FUUUUUNNNNN!
- I got my summer/fall convention schedule sorted out. I’ll be at Gen Con, PAX West, and Gamehole Con. If you see me, don’t be afraid to say “Hi,” “FU,” “Green Flame!” or whatever else springs to mind.
- The D&D adventure anthology #DragonDelves releases today. Ten adventures, ten dragons, and some trippy art! It was, for me, a particularly fun project to work on. Thanks to all the amazing artists, art directors, writers, editors, graphic designers, etc. who worked on it.

- Got a new satellite dish. Only gets animal channels.

- Today I retire from Wizards of the Coast after 28 years. With D&D’s 50th anniversary wrapping up and the revised rulebooks doing gangbusters, this is the perfect fairytale ending for me. I can’t wait to enjoy D&D purely as a fan again, knowing the game is in good hands. See you in the Feywild!

- Apropos of nothing, Elon Musk holds the Guinness World Record for the largest loss of personal fortune in history: ~182 billion US. No one else is close.

- Yippie-ki-yay, motherf***ers!
- Amazing cakes for the D&D rulebook wrap party! 🎉
- #Severance S2E4, “Woe’s Hollow,” was mind-boggling and creepy in the most Lynchian way. Ben Stiller is such a gifted director. John Turturro is sublime.
- After many years, I finally rewatched The Last Unicorn. The movie’s vocal talent alone is amazing—Mia Farrow, Angela Lansbury, Christopher Lee, Jeff Bridges, René Auberjonois, etc.—but the commentary track with Peter Beagle was an added delight.

- It was a joy to present 4E versions of the “G” series modules. Given the time involved, I had no plans to update the other adventures, although I’m quite fond of them as well. #dnd
- I loved the work you did in Dungeon 197-200 on Against the Giants for 4E @chrisperkinsdnd.bsky.social! Were there ever plans to do a similar treatment for Descent into the Depths of the Earth through Queen of the Demonweb Pits?
- Mood.
- RIP David Lynch. What a journey.

- Stay safe, y’all. These wildfires are insane. Check on your peeps and pets!
- Whether you were naughty or nice this year, Milo and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a joyous holiday season! 🎄🎁
- As winter approaches, I find myself thinking about Sidharth Chaturvedi’s gnoll vampire from Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden (2020). Kate Irwin and I had three compositions to choose from. In the final, Sidharth increased the size of Tekeli-li’s hyena form to make him more terrifying. #dnd
- The castle in “Wards of Witching Ways” (published in Dungeon 11 in 1988) was inspired by an Alan Lee illustration in Castles (1984), which Santa gave me for Christmas in 1985. #50YearsOfDnD
- These poor sods. #dnd
- One of my all-time favorite projects to work on was Mines of Madness (2013), a 5E-compatible D&D adventure that Scott Kurtz and I created for sh*ts and giggles. Scott came up with the plot and the illustrations; I did the writing and the maps. It’s now roaming free on the internet. #50YearsOfDnD
- Lesser known fact: I drew maps for a Mines of Madness sequel that was never written. #dnd
- Among the many fantastic gifts I’ve received from D&D fans over the years is this little bottle of dirt from Hell—specifically Hell, Michigan. Never been there, but I hear it’s nicer than Avernus. #dnd
- Baba Yaga’s dancing hut was first explored in “The Dancing Hut,” an AD&D adventure in Dragon 83. One of the things you can find in the hut is a Soviet tank—further evidence that D&D embraces weirdness! In my expert opinion, you should ignore the part about the tank not being operable. #50YearsOfDnD
- One of my favorite D&D adventures is Reavers of Harkenwold. It appeared in the 4E Dungeon Master’s Kit and was made by the same folks who created Lost Mine of Phandelver. Like Phandalin, Harkenwold is an awesome starter setting. It would be fun to update it for 5E. #50YearsOfDnD #dnd
- D&D art directors periodically commission batches of “spot” illustrations, their purpose being to fill holes in books. This lovely spot illo, commissioned by Kate Irwin and created by @olgadrebas.bsky.social in 2021, found a home in the 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide. #dnd
- The Falling Star, released by Wizkids as a minis-scale model in 2019, was based on a map I drew in 1989. #50YearsOfDnD

- Pendleton Ward, the creator of #AdventureTime, was a consultant on Tomb of Annihilation (2017). Pen helped me flesh out the Nine Gods of Omu and also drew me a doodle on a napkin. #dnd
