- The “12 Fan” jerseys are lame
- Not sure I could have said this any better about the difference between Boston and San Francisco “Here, she said, there is a niceness that can veer into fakeness. Back home, she would have been more honest.”
- Fresh off the press! First live publish in some time. A sign of how quiet it’s been
- Snow in SF!
- 50 years ago, today, San Francisco was transformed into a winter wonderland. It hasn't snowed in the city since. www.sfchronicle.com/oursf/articl...
- A nice layer of haze over SF this morning. Should clear around noon.
- Sunsets at 5:36 pm. SFO hits its daily high temp of 66 degrees at 5:05pm and stays there through 6pm. Classic Bay Area weather.
- @ianlivingston.bsky.social You guys all good?
- Shitty day for the news industry. Feeling for my friends the @washingtonpost.com
- Oh hi Drake
- Seeing the Boston sports media descend upon the Bay Area this week, I am reminded of an inescapable, if not biased, fact. The Boston sports media is just so far ahead of any comparable sports media on the West Coast. I'm not sure why, but it's impossible to ignore.
- The more that I think about it, the more outrageous it is that Metallica isn’t involved in this Super Bowl!
- What a start to Super Bowl week! Much of the city was pushing 70 degrees today.
- Going to be a fun week to have this app! Lots of private jets en route to the Bay Area. #SuperBowlLV
- This moltbook stuff is beyond wild. I can't stop reading these posts. All AI agents talking and interacting. No humans. www.moltbook.com
- Back from a great week at #AMS2026 and I have some thoughts! www.linkedin.com/pulse/observ...
- The real MVP of the AFC Championship game. This unexpected and intense snow squall!
- What a magical season! Super Bowl bound and it’s in San Francisco!!!
- A relatively weak system currently meandering off the California coast is about to morph into a massive winter storm for over 200 million people. Forecast confidence for a major storm is increasing and here's why. 🧵
- What do we say about this Patriots season? I have no idea. Weird year. But on we go!!!
- @mingemi.bsky.social WOW!!!
- Here comes the snow. Its going to be an interesting 4th
- No blizzard. But maybe a few inches of light snow during the game. The problem? No upstream blocking. The coastal system is allowed to escape out to sea.
- San Francisco’s temp spiked to 71 degrees on Friday, nearly setting a record. It ended up being a lovely day! www.sfchronicle.com/weather-fore...
- It's never easy forecasting weather in the Bay Area, even on days with sunshine and no wind. Currently a 30 degree temperature difference between Rodeo and Port Costa, located less than 5 miles apart.
- Who's ready for a blizzard playoff game on Sunday in Foxboro!
- Who wants to play a quick 9 this afternoon? Summer like warmth around Pebble Beach and Carmel today.
- Ok, our turn @mingemi.bsky.social
- New this morning! The rain is gone…for now. When does the pattern change again? www.sfchronicle.com/weather/arti...
- A cloud free California as we head into the first rain free weekend in several weeks. Nice looking snowpack though!
- Nice scoop from @taraduggan.bsky.social. NOAAs tidal charts are based on a dataset from 25 years ago and one that assumes sea level rise stopped in 2001 🧐 www.sfchronicle.com/climate/arti...
- Water is looking a bit rough at Ocean Beach. High surf advisory is in place through Friday night, with 15 to 20+ foot waves expected. www.sfchronicle.com/weather/arti...
- This one caught me off guard too. @edwardsanthonyb.bsky.social with the explanation on the new language.
- No weather excuses for the 49ers in Philly. Temps will be the 40s during the game. But winds won't be too strong and no precip is expected. The forecast for Philly fans? 100% chance of being loud and obnoxious. @eric-branch.bsky.social with the story. www.sfchronicle.com/sports/49ers...
- California just swung the pendulum hard on precipitation this season. After the latest rainy stretch, huge swaths of the state are running well above normal rainfall for this point in the water year, up to 300%+ of average in some spots. www.sfchronicle.com/weather/arti...
- Extreme seems a little “extreme”. But it’s a new kind of advisory. Basically a freeze watch
- It’s ripping rain right now!
- I’d call this a localized shower
